The next day I believed that we were staying longer. Until our stuff got thrown into the car. " Where are we going now " I said confused. " To Rotorua " Kelly replied. Century's went by...
Getting to the motel a wiff of sulfer flew past my nose. Sulfer is a mineral in the boiling mud that you find all over Rotorua. We had a swim in the pool. Splash, splash, splash... Soon we were walking along the stoney sand...
Up, up, up. We had an amazing view from high up. First the gondola and now the luge. Looks like we are going to have a fun filled day I thought. It was time to go back to Taranaki. On our way we stopped at Pamela's castle in Tirau.
The castle was filled with old toys and limited time only characters. The toys were years from 1810 to 2014 to see the differents that have happened between those years.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your recount about your holiday that you wrote. You showed excellent use of paragraphing and I liked reading your descriptive language about the different aspects of your trip. I like your description about 'sulfer' and what it smells like. Dont forget that you an use the spell checker when you have finished writing your work to check it.
