Quote of the week

Here is this weeks Quote of the week.

Book of the week

This week book of the week goes to a book that I have recently read. Its called House of Secrets. I would recommend this book to 9 years and older. This book is really descriptive and hooks you in to read more.  I would give this book a 4 stars and a 8/10. Here is a little blurb about the book.

Cordelia, Brendan, and Eleanor Walker are not very happy when their parents purchase the creepy Kristoff House, especially after a mysterious woman appears and demolishes it. She claims to be the "Wind Witch" and the daughter of the original owner of the house, Denver Kristoff. The three Walker children are horrified when they find that their parents are dead and that they're characters in a novel written by Kristoff himself. Having read the book previously, Cordelia knew that they would soon meet a new person, Will, a member of the National Flying Corp from World war one. They soon find strange things and learn that they are not just captured in a single book, but inside three of them. The Wind Witch suddenly appears before them, saying that their mission is to find a secret book that she can't touch. She also promises to release their captured parents if they do so. They go on an adventurous trip to find the book, escape from the hurdles and save their parents.

You should read this book I think you would like it if you are into adventure books.

Quote of the week

Book of the week.

For each week I will be doing a book of the week. This week it goes to a Jacqueline Wilson book. This book is for people 9-12 years.  Its called Best Friends and here is a summary about it.

There are two girls called Gemma and Alice and they have known each other for all off their lives.

One day Gemma was getting suspicious with Alice. Gemma knew that Alice was hiding some big secret. Gemma was wondering why Alice wouldn't tell her if they had been friends all of their lives.
Then Gemma makes a mistake and reads Alice's diary without asking...

Read the story yourself to find out the ending.

An addictive treat.

Opening the lid of M&M's Many colours blinded me. A wet substance dribbled down my chin. Glancing at the desirable treat I just had to take one...

Slipping a single M&M into my mouth. I could soon taste the flavour of smooth, desirable and sweet chocolate. Then I took another one.

Popping the M&M into my mouth. The flavour of sugar and cocoa once again visited me. Once I had my fifth M&M I couldn't stop.

Grabbing a handful of mouth-watering minuscule objects. I chucked them into my mouth with one gulp. I looked in the container and there was only one left.

A blue M&M sat lonely. I popped it into my mouth. Smooth chocolate covered my teeth. I swallowed. All that was left was a mouthful of saliva.

My Bubblegum Speech

Bubblegum

Is bubblegum good or bad?
You decide and I will help you.

When I say bubblegum you would
think oh yum, delicious. That chewy
sticky goodness with desirable flavours.

When bubblegum was first released in 1928
everyone thought it was the evolution to lollies.
It's not. Bubblegum is a waste of money.
If your parents tell you not to eat bubblegum.
Don't! and you will soon understand why...

Do you know what makes bubblegum so chewy?
Plastic and rubber. I know disgusting right.
They just add colour and flavour to so you can't tell.

Brands say that bubblegum cleans your teeth.
It doesn't. Their just lying to make more money.
Thats your money that you could save up for other things.

Bubblegum also contains a lot of sugar and is
seriously fattening too. So don't eat bubblegum.
Bubblegum is not healthy they are all lies.

When you have bubblegum all
you are doing is producing saliva
that isn't needed.

Please don't eat bubblegum. Trust me you
will have a better life and less dental visits.
